The short version: Kaeda is local-first. Your brain (your clients, notes, session material, and files) lives on your own device. We do not upload it, sell it, or use it to train any model.
What we collect
Your account. When you create an account we store the email address and credentials you sign up with, plus your subscription status once billing opens. Accounts are managed by Supabase, our authentication provider.
The app. Kaeda runs on your machine and connects to services using credentials you provide, encrypted by your operating system's keystore. Your coaching content stays on your device.
Diagnostics, only with consent. The app can send crash reports and usage diagnostics to help us fix problems, and early-access participants can opt in to a deeper feedback tier that shares more detail. Both are controlled by you, in the app's settings, and both are off unless you turn them on during setup.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We do not use your content to train models.
- We do not email you things you did not ask for.
Third parties
The app talks to services you connect, for example your Claude account (Anthropic) and Google, governed by their own terms. Authentication runs on Supabase. The website runs on Cloudflare. When paid subscriptions open, payments will be handled by a payment provider acting as merchant of record, and this policy will name it.
Deletion
Your brain is yours: delete the app and your local data is gone with it. To delete your account and anything we hold about it, email us and we will confirm within a few days.
